Hosted MCP server that lets ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client work on your own Windows PCs, even from your phone: search, read and edit files, run terminal commands and reach localhost on each paired computer, inside the folders you allow, with revocation and an activity log.

Install

Remote MCP URL: https://localcmd.app/mcp

First install and pair the agent on each Windows PC: npx local-commander-agent@latest (approve the pairing in your browser). Then add the URL as a custom connector (Claude) or app connection (ChatGPT) and sign in with OAuth.

From the maker’s docs (checked Oct 20, 2026). Our harness hasn’t run this server yet, so these steps are not verified by us.
